The wide, wild world of Conor McGregor has never before been so unpredictable.
Following his record-setting win over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, McGregor has a plethora of options before him. (Yes, we did have to look up “plethora” to be sure we were using it properly.)
McGregor is the champion of two UFC weight divisions. He has interest from a third. Floyd Mayweather is sure to stick his neck out there again sometime soon. And now, the WWE is renewing its interest in The Notorious.
Famed WWE wrestler Triple H, who’s real-life alter ego Paul Levesque is the WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, knows a thing or two about people that would make good performers in the world of pro wrestling. In McGregor, he sees someone who could be “the man” in the WWE world, just as he is in the UFC world.
“He could come over, he’s got it all,” Tripe H told the Telegraph. “He’s got the personality, the skills, the talk. He’s an entertainer, for sure.”
Think this will go unnoticed by McGregor as he enters into negotiations for an ownership stake in the UFC?
We don’t think he’ll overlook it either.
