WEC 53 Post-Fight Video: One-on-One With Anthony Pettis

At 23 years old, Anthony Pettis has faced a lot of adversity in his life, but he’s also attained a level of greatness that not many athletes ever do.

He defeated Ben Henderson on Thursday night – with the Matrix kick from hell – to become the final WEC lightweight champion. Pettis earned a shot at the winner between UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and challenger Gray Maynard sometime next year.

Pettis took time out after his win to speak with MMAWeekly.com one-on-one, breaking down his off-the-wall kick, and talking about his future prospects in the UFC and who he’d rather fight.
