Round 1:
As the bout begins, Kerr immediately lunges to the neck of Castillo with his legs wrapped around Castillo’s neck. With the weight of Kerr, the fighters crumble to the ground. They scramble on the mat each trying to make something happen. Kerr gets Castillo in an inverted heel hook. Kerr keeps trying to get the heel hook finish, but Castillo answers Kerr with a huge shot to the face. Kerr, now stunned, releases the hold as Castillo follows the strike up with another that knocks Kerr out cold.
