Watch Israel Adesanya KO Robert Whittaker to unify the middleweight titles: UFC 248 fight video

Israel Adesanya defeated middleweight champion Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 last year in decisive fashion with a second-round knockout.

Now 18-0, Adesanya puts his belt on the line for the first time when he squares off with perennial challenger Yoel Romero in the UFC 248 main event on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Though Romero has lost three of his last four bouts (including his last two), he is considered one of the most dangerous opponents in the middleweight division. His knockout power and wrestling ability is second to none, and that’s why he’s getting the title shot… because Adesanya wants to quell any doubts that he’s not fighting the best and most dangerous fighters on the planet.
