Josh Neer vs. Keith Wisniewski

Round 1:  The fighters take the center of the Octagon.  They exchange before clinching.  Neer pushes Wisniewski to the cage.  The two separate.  Neer lands a right leg kick and tries to land a right hand over the top.  They clinch and Neer lands several punches to the body before the separate.  Wisniewski clinches and lands a knee inside the clinch.  Wisniewski puts Neer’s back against the cage but Neer turns him.  The fight is briefly stopped to get Neer his mouthpiece back.  Wisniewski lands an upper cut.  Neer clinches and lands an uppercut of his own.  Good dirty boxing displayed by Neer.  Neer pushes forward and landing.  Wisniewski keeping his head straight up but avoiding big shots thus far.  Neer lands short elbows inside the clinch.  MMAWeekly.com score the round 10-9 for Neer.

Round 2:  Neer points to his ribs after the round and may be injured.  Neer told his corner that he thinks he has a couple of broken ribs.  The second round begins.  Neer lands a straight right that pushes Wisniewski back.  Neer’s pace has picked up this round.  Wisniewski clinches and looks to get the fight to the ground.  They separate.  Wisniewski clinches again and Neer lands short elbows inside the clinch with his back against the cage.  Wisniewski with a body shot.   Neer landing more elbows inside the clinch.  Wisniewski is cut.  Neer pushes forward with pressure, landing shots.  Neer with a series of uppercuts inside the clinch.  The referee stops the fight momentarily to have the ringside doctor check Wisniewski’s cuts.  Neer’s mouthpiece fell out and is under the cage.  They’re trying to retrieve it.  It’s in the rules that fighters have to have a mouthpiece, so we wait for them to get it.  Fight is restarted after a couple of minutes.  1:40 on the clock at the time of the restart.  Wisniewski clinches and Neer goes back to landing elbows to Wisniewski’s bloody face.  They separate and Neer lands a double jab and right hook.  Neer works for a standing guillotine in the final seconds of the round.  MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for Neer.

 The fight is stopped after the second round due to cuts.  Josh Neer wins by TKO.
