Ed Herman vs. Kyle Noke (middleweight)
Round 1: Noke comes out kicking; Herman flinging punches. Noke shoots, but Herman turns him on the way down, taking top position. Noke gets up and puts Herman immediately on his back, working from inside Herman’s full guard. Herman’s trying to set up an armbar or triangle choke. Noke eventually slips out of the submission attempt and starts grounding and pounding. Herman, however, goes back to working for the submission, locks up an arm and rolls into an armbar attempt. He cranks on the arm, but Noke escapes up to a half mount position, dropping down punches. Herman spins to a leg lock attempt, but Noke dives down, dropping punches. Herman maintains his hold and the leg, locks on a heel hook and finishes the fight with a tapout.
