UFC On Versus 2 Weigh-In Results

The phenom of the UFC’s light heavyweight division, Jon Jones, and veteran Vladimir Matyushenko square off Saturday in the main event of the promotion’s second event on the Versus network.

The full slate of UFC on Versus 2: Jones vs. Matyushenko fighters weighed in late Saturday afternoon in San Diego, where the fighters will square off in the Octagon at the San Diego Sports Arena.

Jones, who weighed in at 206 pounds on his second attempt, enters the bout with one blemish on his record, a disqualification loss to Matt Hamill late last year. He enters with fight Sunday night coming off of a first-round TKO stoppage of Brandon Vera at the first UFC on Versus event in March.

Stepping on the scale at 206 pounds, Matyushenko may be the underdog, but with more than twice the experience of Jones, he’s not one to be overlooked. He enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Eliot Marshall by split decision, also at the UFC on Versus 1 event.

On the undercard DaMarques Johnson weighed in at 172.5 pounds for his welterweight bout with Matt Riddle. Johnson has to shed a pound and a half and was in the process of doing so at the conclusion of the weigh-ins.

The main card bouts air live on Versus at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
