Round 1: Brenneman quickly closes the distance and looks for a takdown. Silva fends it off. Silva attempted a spinning back kick and Brenneman ties him up and gets the fight to the ground. Silva quickly gets back up. Brenneman drags him to the ground. Silva works for a heel hook. Brenneman gets out and presses Silva against the cage working for a takedown. The referee separates them. Silva switches his stance. Brenneman lands a right hand and presses forward for a takedown. He gets it. Silva stands back up using the cage. Brenneman applies pressure and lands short punches to the body inside the clinch. The referee separates them. Silva lands a spinning back kick to the body. Brenneman goes for a takedown but Silva fends it off and takes Brenneman’s back. He flattens Brenneman out and applies a rear naked choke. Brenneman is forced to tap out.
