The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced its 2017 first-quarter schedule of events on Wednesday, consisting of ten events taking place in six U.S. cities and in three different countries.
January will feature three fight cards, with the first taking place on Jan. 15 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Ariz. On Jan. 21, the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. will host UFC 208, and the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo., will host UFC on FOX 23 on Jan. 28.
Three events are planned for February with the first heading to Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center on Feb. 4. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. will be the venue for UFC 209 on Feb. 11. On Feb. 19, the Octagon will travel to Nova Scotia, Canada for a Fight Night event at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.
The month of March will feature four events, starting with back-to-back fight cards on March 3 and 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The venue of the March 3 event is undetermined, while UFC 210 on March 4 will take place at T-Mobile Arena.
The first international event of 2017 will take place in Brazil on March 11. The location and venue will be announced at a later date. A week later, the Octagon will travel to London, England, for a Fight Night card at the O2 Arena.
