The Brazilian Athletic Commission of MMA (CABMMA) on Wednesday released the drug tests results from UFC Fight Night 58, which took place at the Ginasio Jose Correa in Barueri, Brazil on Dec. 20.
All 24 fighters on the fight card were subjected to doping control tests to detect the presence of anabolic agents, diuretics/masking agents, stimulants and cannabinoids. Four randomly selected athletes were also tested for erythropoietin (EPO).
All fighters showed negative results in their respective examinations. The tests were carried out in a laboratory accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
Former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida quickly defeated C.B. Dollaway with a body kick followed up with punches in the fight card’s main event. Former bantamweight titleholder Renan Barao bounced back from his first loss in nine years with a submission win over Mitch Gagnon in the co-main event.
The event was the second that the UFC has hosted in Barueri.
