The Ultimate Fighting Championship came to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on Saturday night for UFC Fight Night 89. The venue was the city’s TD Palace Arena.
The night produced some memorable finishes for the a total of 10,490 spectators in attendance. The gate for the Canadian event was $1,268,250.
The main event saw Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson make his way further up the welterweight ladder with a unanimous decision win over former title contender Rory MacDonald.
In the co-main event, Donald Cerrone blasted away at Patrick Cote for nearly three rounds before finishing off the Canadian with strikes.
