UFC Fight Night 69 Draws Slightly More Spectators Than The UFC’s First Trip to Berlin

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Germany this week for UFC Fight Night 69: Jedrzejczyk vs. Penne.

The UFC announced on Saturday that the event drew 8,155 spectators to the O2 World in Berlin.

Officials announced the attendance figures during the event’s post-fight press conference. The fight card, which streamed live on UFC Fight Pass, attracted 155 more fans than the promotion’s first trip to Germany’s capital in May 2014. That event, UFC Fight Night 41, drew an announced 8,000 spectators.

In the main event, women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk defended her title for the first time. She finished former Invicta FC atomweight titleholder Jessica Penne by TKO in the third round of a one-sided fight.
