UFC Fight Night 40 in Cincinnati had 6,143 spectators in attendance for a $415,000 gate on Saturday evening.

Fans at the U.S. Bank Arena witnessed their local fighter, Matt Brown, score a TKO over Erick Silva in the main event, earning Fight of the Night and Performance of the night honors.

In the co-main event, Costa Philippou engaged in a striking affair with Lorenz Larkin. In the end, Philippou landed the knockout blow in the first round.

Other main card winners included Daron Cruickshank, Neil Magny, Soa Palelei and Chris Cariaso.

The UFC’s last visit to U.S. Bank Arena was in 2007 with UFC 77, a card that included then-middleweight champion Anderson Silva defending his title in a rematch with former title holder Rich Franklin.
