UFC Fight Night 32 took place on Saturday in Goiania, Brazil, with 10,565 spectators filling the Goiania Arena to witness the 11-fight card headlined by former UFC light heavyweight champion and Brazilian Vitor Belfort taking on former two-division Pride titleholder Dan Henderson in a rematch.
The two first fought at Pride 32 in 2006 with Henderson defeating Belfort by unanimous decision. Belfort avenged that loss in dramatic fashion on Saturday, becoming the only man to stop Henderson via strikes.
Not a single strike was thrown in the opening minute, but seventeen seconds later it was over.
Henderson closed the distance and was met with a short left hand that knocked him off his feet. Belfort unleashed a series of strikes looking for the finish. Henderson battled back to his feet only to be knocked off them again by a left high kick that ended the fight.
