The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently announced UFC Fight Night 24: Ortiz vs. Nogueira for March 26 in Seattle.
Spike TV, the UFC’s basic cable television partner, on Wednesday announced UFC Fight Night 24 bouts that it will telecast.
Tito Ortiz, who is in a must-win situation to remain in the Octagon, of course will face Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the main event of the televised portion of the card.
The rest of the televised main card features many of the top young talent rising up the UFC roster.
The co-main event features a welterweight throwdown between former title challenger Dan Hardy and the returning Anthony Johnson. Hardy is coming off back-to-back losses for the second time in his career, while Johnson has been out of action, nursing injuries, for more than a year.
The telecast will open with a featherweight rematch between TUF 12’s Nam Phan and former Top 10 ranked 145-pounder Leonard Garcia. The two fought to a controversial split decision at “The Ultimate Fighter Season 12” finale in December.
Rounding out the Spike TV fight card is a welterweight showdown between veteran Duane “Bang” Ludwig and TUF 7 winner Amir Sadollah.
The UFC on Wednesday also made official a heavyweight contest between Jon Madsen and Mike Russow for the UFC Fight Night 24 event.
