The Ultimate Fighting Championship has made official the final two bouts for the UFC 64 Franklin vs. Silva card. Heavyweight Cheick Kongo is set to face UFC newcomer Carmelo Marrero. Rounding out the card is a fight between Spencer Fisher and Dan Lauzon.

Kongo is a French kickboxer that has gone 2-0 in his UFC career defeating both Gilbert Aldana and Christian Wellisch by TKO in the first round. His opponent, Marrero, is 5-0 as a professional mixed martial artist, but will be making his UFC debut when he steps into the Octagon on October 14th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In his short UFC career, Fisher has earned a record of 3-1 with his most recent victory an impressive TKO with a flying knee to the face of Matt Wiman. Facing Fisher will be Dan Lauzon who is also making his UFC debut bringing with him a 4-0 professional record. At just 18 years old, Lauzon is the younger brother of Joe Lauzon, the man that knocked out Fisher’s teammate Jens Pulver at UFC 63.

Other bouts announced as official were Yushin Okami vs. Kalib Starnes and Kurt Pellegrino vs. Junior Assuncao.
