UFC 201: Lawler vs. Woodley gave officials numerous options for the traditional post-fight bonuses on Saturday night in Atlanta, but it was the top three fights on the card that stole the show… and the bonuses.
In the UFC 201 main event, Woodley made quick work of Robbie Lawler to capture the welterweight championship. His TKO stoppage earned Woodley one of the two Performance of the Night honors.
The other Performance of the Night bonus went to Ellenberger, who also made quick work of Matt Brown, knocking him out in the first round of their fight.
In the night’s co-main event, Kowalkiewicz earned a split-decision nod over Namajunas, but the fight was close enough, and action-packed enough, that they earned the Fight of the Night honor, and $50,000 each.
