Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson may be having a difficult time in placating fans, but it’s not for his lacking in the Octagon.
Johnson once again faced the top contender available to him in John Dodson at UFC 191 on Saturday night, and he once again dominated en route to a unanimous decision victory. The victory marked his ninth consecutive win, which includes seven title defenses.

Somehow, however, that wasn’t good enough to vault him to the top of the disclosed fighter payroll. That distinction went to Anthony Johnson, who pulled in a disclosed salary of $230,000.
In fact, Demetrious Johnson, the UFC flyweight champion and UFC 191 main event winner, landed fourth on the payroll at $191,000. Following closely behind Anthony Johnson, but ahead of Demetrious Johnson, were co-main event winner Andrei Arlovski at $225,000 and the man he defeated, Frank Mir, at $200,000.
