The judges scored the fight for High by unanimous decision. All three scorecards read 29-28.
“I got the win but I’m not happy with it. I really feel like I should’ve ran right through him but it didn’t turn out that way. I think the first round could’ve been scored a 10-8 in my favor. I was in dominate position the entire round and didn’t take any damage. I’m just thankful I was able to go in there and compete. I’ll be back even better next time out.”
“I should’ve fought harder in the last round. I’m very disappointed in myself because I think that it was anyone’s fight going into the third. I let it go into the hands of the judges and that’s my fault.”
