The Ultimate Fighting Championship late Monday night announced a lightweight addition to its UFC 139 fight card for Nov. 19 in San Jose, Calif.
Danny Castillo and Shamar Bailey will square off as part of the supporting cast for the main event featuring Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Dan Henderson.
Castillo, a longtime training partner of the uber-popular Urijah Faber, will be making his third start in the Octagon following a lengthy career in the WEC. He enters the fight with an 11-4 overall record, but recently had a three-fight winning streak derailed by Jacob Volkmann at UFC on Versus 5.
Bailey (12-4) is trying to gain a foothold in the UFC. He defeated Ryan McGillivray in a welterweight bout at the TUF 13 Finale before losing a decision to Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night 25 in September.
