UFC 138 Weigh-in Results: Leben vs. Munoz (UPDATED)

UFC 138 is slated for Saturday in Birmingham, England. It marks the first time in more than a year that the promotion has run an event in England.

Middleweight Chris Leben and Mark Munoz square off in the main event, each trying to fight his way into the UFC title picture. Whether or not the winner gains a shot at Anderson Silva, both promise fireworks when the bell rings.

Both Munoz and Leben hit the scales in England on Friday with the fighters coming in at an equal 186 pounds apiece. This will mark the first non-title five round main event fight in UFC history.

Despite the help of noted MMA nutritionist guru Mike Dolce, Thiago Alves was the lone fighter to come in over weight as he hit the scales at 172 pounds, one pound over the allowed limit for a welterweight fight. Alves has one hour to cut the additional pound or he risks fines being levied on his purse for missing weight.

The rest of the fighters on the card made weight without incident.

UPDATED: After taking some time to cut the additional weight, Thiago Alves hit the 171lb mark to make his fight with Papy Abedi official for tomorrow night in England.
