Mike Brown vs. Nam Phan (featherweight)
Round 1: Brown throwing hard shots and looks for the takedown, but Phan shrugs him off. Brown slips under looking for a single leg and then moves to a body lock taking Phan to the ground. Brown unloading big shots to Phan as he looks to take his back. Brown continues to punish Phan, who seems stuck underneath him. Brown absolutely hammering Phan, but he somehow manages to get back to his feet. Brown with another takedown to end a dominant round.

Round 2: Brown shoots in for a single leg and Phan is fighting hard to avoid the ground. The fighters separate and it’s back to the feet. Phan pops Brown with a good series of punches, and he shoots in again looking for the single leg. Phan unloads a nice body shot. Brown again looks for the takedown, and Phan attempts to block him, but eventually gets dragged down. Phan pops up again and they are back to the feet. Phan with another nasty body shot. Phan lands another good combination. Brown can’t land another takedown attempt.

Round 3: Phan comes out and lands a nice overhand right following up by another big combination. Brown starts to fire back with big power shots of his own and then shoots in for a takedown, and gets Phan down against the cage. Phan works his way back up and they are back to striking. Brown still shooting for takedowns, but Phan blocks him consecutive times. Brown back looking for another takedown, gets Phan down for only a second and he pops back up. Brown still pushing for the takedown as the fight ends.
