Despite a few last minute alterations to the rest of the fight card, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez will still square off in the main event of UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez at Acer Arena in Sydney. The fight takes place Sunday in Australia, but Saturday in the U.S. due to the time difference.

Michael Bisping and Wanderlei Silva may have gotten the loudest reaction from the Australian crowd when they hit the scales. As soon as Silva made 185lbs, UFC president Dana White immediately stepped in to stop him and opponent, Michael Bisping from engaging too much during the stare down, but it didn’t stop the Brit from yelling at the former Pride champion.

Meanwhile, Nogueira and Velasquez also looked fierce as they stared each other down, knowing that the winner could be in line for a title shot later this year.

“This fight right now in my career means everything to me,” said Velasquez after weighing in. “All the hard work I put in, it’s just paying off and I just want to keep getting better and better. Nogueira’s always been at the top and that’s where I want to be.”

Always a calm look on his face, former Pride and UFC heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira gave the Australian fans a big smile as he made a few comments after coming in on weight.

“It’s going to be a big fight tomorrow, for sure, I know he’s a young guy, upcoming guy, he’s hungry,” Nogueira stated. “I’ve got a lot of experience to stop this guy and I’m going to try to use it all tomorrow.”
