Amir Sadollah waited more than a year to make his UFC pay-per-view debut… and it was all over in 29 seconds.

Sadollah came out firing, having a head kick blocked by Johny Hendricks, but then landing a stout leg kick. But that would be the beginning of the end for The Ultimate Fighter 7 winner.

As the two started to trade punches, Hendricks landed a left hand that visibly rocked Sadollah, and then followed with some dirty boxing right uppercuts that put Sadollah on his knees. Hendricks followed with a couple more blows and the referee stopped the fight.

The stoppage was somewhat questionable, but not indefensible.

“It’s not my call,” commented Hendricks on the timing of the stoppage. “I came out here to do one thing and that’s fight until the ref takes me off.

“I rocked him with one of those uppercuts, I could see it in his eyes.”

Making his first UFC start since moving over from sister promotion World Extreme Cagefighting, Hendricks upped his record to a perfect 6-0.
