A lightweight showdown pitting the returning Tyson Griffin against the emerging Evan Dunham is on tap for UFC 115 on June 12 in Vancouver.

MMAWeekly.com sources on Tuesday night said the bout has been agreed to, but not yet signed.

Both fighters have spent time training at the Xtreme Couture gym in Las Vegas for their most recent fights. One source indicated that the two would go their separate ways in preparation for the bout. Griffin is expected to remain at Xtreme Couture, while Dunham will take his training elsewhere.

Griffin (14-2) will be making his return to the Octagon for the first time since a second round TKO stoppage of former WEC champion Hermes Franca at UFC 103 last September. He had planned to fight Jim Miller at UFC 108 in early January, but had to withdraw from the bout due to injury, the first time in his career he has had to do so.

Dunham (10-0) has yet to be tripped up in his professional career. He emerged in the Octagon last February with a TKO stoppage of Per Eklund. Dunham hasn’t slowed down, adding Marcus Aurelio and Efrain Escudero to his UFC hit list.

UFC 115 is also expected to feature a third battle between former UFC champions Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz. The two will coach opposite each other on season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter reality series.
