Frank Trigg told MMAWeekly.com late Tuesday night that he has signed a new three fight deal with Rumble on the Rock. “I’m looking forward to finally fighting in Hawaii. Rumble on the Rock wanted to have me fight in their tournament and I’m glad to be fighting.”

Trigg will square off in the Rumble on the Rock Grand Prix against another UFC veteran in Ronald “Machine Gun” Jhun.

If Trigg can win his fight then it could set up a semi-final showdown with Charuto Verissimo, provided Charuto wins his opening match.

“I know Charuto wants a rematch and I will give it to him. He’s a tough guy, we had a great battle and I will fight anybody anytime.” Trigg said.

Trigg, a former WFA champion will see two other champions in the tournament as Cesar Gracie Fighter, Jake Shields (Shooto Champion) will square off against former UFC champion Dave Menne as that fight most likely will be on the opposite side of the bracket.
