Dream announced on Friday that its Dream 6 fight card, scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, is now complete. Yoshihiro Akiyama, given his choice of three opponents, has elected to face Masanori Tonooka, as the final addition to the event.

Ranked by MMAWeekly.com as the No. 9 middleweight in the world, Akiyama returns on Sept. 23 following his submission of Katsuyori Shibata at Dream 5 in July. Tonooka is a karate stylist, who most recently knocked out Hidehira Yabu at DEEP 27. The win improved his overall mixed martial arts record to 1-1.

Dream 6 features the semi-final and final rounds of the Dream Middleweight Grand Prix. The semi-final bouts feature Melvin Manhoef versus Gegard Mousasi and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza versus Zelg Galesic, with the winners meeting in the final on the same night.
