It’s not secret that TJ Dillashaw had a not-so-friendly split when he left Team Alpha Male to move his training camp to Colorado alongside Duane “Bang” Ludwig.
Dillashaw wasn’t overly surprised at the reaction of some of his former teammates, but there were others whose reactions cut deeply for the former UFC champion. There were longtime friendships that he never would have dreamed would have fractured, but did.
In a scrum at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Media Day on Wednesday, Dillashaw addressed some of those that he felt a little hurt over, commented on his upcoming coaching stint opposite Cody Garbrandt, and put into perspective Garbrandt’s threat to release a video of him knocking out Dillashaw in training.
TUF 25: Redemption features Garbrandt and Dillashaw as the head coaches, overseeing a cast of 14 former Ultimate Fighter cast members, who are seeking a return to the spotlight. The show debuts April 19 on FS1.
