Tim Means vs. Justin Salas Completes 12-Bout UFC on FX 3 Fight Card

The Ultimate Fighting Championship – barring injury – completed its UFC on FX 3 fight card on Friday, confirming several bouts and adding a lightweight contest of Tim Means vs. Justin Salas to the list.

Fleshing out at 12 bouts, UFC on FX 3 will take place June 8 at the BankAtlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Means (17-3-1) is on an eight-fight winning streak, including his Octagon debut at UFC on Fuel TV 1 in February. He’s a former King of the Cage champion and former training partner of current interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit.

Salas (10-3) is on a similar streak, having won his last six consecutive bouts. Training out of the Grudge Training Center in Denver, he holds a win over top welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger’s brother, Joe, and won his promotional debut, also on the UFC on Fuel TV 1 fight card.

A flyweight tournament rematch between Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall and Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson – two of the catchier nicknames in the sport – heads the UFC on FX 3 fight card in Florida.
