Bellator Fighting Championships on Thursday announced that Thiago Santos has been removed from the Bellator 45 fight card due to injury. His heavyweight feature fight with Derrick Lewis has also been removed.

An undercard catchweight fight between Ben Parpart (2-2) and Joseph Abercrombie (2-1) will take its place on the main card on Saturday night at L’Auberge Du Lac Casino and Resort in Lake Charles, La.

Bellator 45 features a light heavyweight championship bout between Christian M’Pumbu and Richard Hale, as well as the Season 4 featherweight final pitting Daniel Straus against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire. It will be telecast live on MTV 2.
