“The Ultimate Fighter Season 12” is only halfway through its season, which culminated with the TUF 12 finale on Dec. 4 in Las Vegas, but Season 13 of the venerable UFC reality series on Spike TV is already in motion.
A casting call for Season 13 of “The Ultimate Fighter” is set for this Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Red Rock Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The casting call kicks off at 8 a.m., but it is strongly recommended that those fighters wanting to take part arrive early.
“Ultimate Fighter” officials are looking for middleweights (185-pound limit) and welterweights (170-pound limit) for Season 13. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have at least three professional mixed martial arts bouts on their resume, and must complete and sign the application for the show at either UFC.com or ultimatefighter.com.
Fighters at Thursday’s casting call will be required to grapple and hit pads, so should dress appropriately and bring all necessary gear. (Mouth guard, protective athletic cup, hand wraps, and gloves.)
All applicants for “The Ultimate Fighter Season 13” casting call must arrive between 8 and 9 a.m. for registration. If you cannot attend the tryouts in Las Vegas, interested applicants can still fill out and follow the instructions on the online application. All applications must be received by Nov. 5, 2010.
