Round 1: Bowling lands an outside leg kick. He misses with a high kick. Saling catches a leg kick but Bowling moves away. Bowling clinches and pins Saling against the cage. He lets go and they exchange. Bowling lands a right hand. Saling counters with a right hand that staggers Bowling. Bowling moves away. He clinches. They get into another wild exchange. Saling lands a right hand that hurts Bowling again. Bowling drives forward for a takedown. He secures it. Bowling goes for an arm bar. Saling escapes and gets to his feet. Saling lands a right hand. Bowling takes him down and lands in side control. Saling tries to bridge off the cage. Bowling maintains top control. Bowling lands left hands and elbows. He has Saling in the crucifix position. Saling is cut. Saling gets out of the crucifix but gets mounted. MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for Bowling.
Round 2: Bowling wastes no time looking for a takedown. He secures one and finds himself in side control. He gets Saling in the crucifix position again and delivers a series of left hands. Bowling continues to land left hands to Saling’s head and the referee is forced to stop it. Bowling wins by TKO.
