Sarah Kaufman has plans to take Strikeforce gold home with her to Canada. Takayo Hashi also has plans to take the first Strikeforce women’s welterweight title with her back to Japan.

Only one will achieve her dream, but both are now officially set for the opportunity.

Kaufman on Thursday weighed in at 134 pounds before California State Athletic Commission officials in San Jose, Calif. Hashi stepped on the scale at 132 pounds, making the bout official.

The rest of the athletes on the card also made weight. Five bouts will be televised live on Showtime with seven non-televised preliminary bouts for the audience in attendance.
