UFC veteran Sam Stout returns to his Canadian stomping grounds at TKO 30 to defend his lightweight belt against fellow Canadian fighter Martin Grandmont.

Stout is coming off of a loss in a rematch with Spencer Fisher in the UFC. He is undefeated (10-0), however, when fighting under the TKO banner. Stout defeated Fabio Holanda earlier this year at TKO 28 for his latest title defense. He has held the TKO Lightweight Championship since July of 2005.

Holding an overall record of 5-3, Grandmont has been impressive since moving down to the lightweight division. He has had two fights at the 155-pound limit, defeating both Dave Pariseau and Tyler Jackson in his last two outings.

The full fight card for TKO 30 has yet to be announced, but will feature at least one other title fight as Sean Pierson faces Chris Clements for the TKO welterweight belt and is nearly full.

TKO 30: Apocalypse is scheduled for Friday, September 28 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
