Stephen Palling hasn’t fought since his epic battle against Jens Pulver in Shooto over in Hawaii, which was arguably the best fight of 2004.

Palling had severe eye damage, a fractured orbital bone on one side, and a fractured cheek bone on the other side, but as Palling revealed to MMAWeekly TV, the damage was present ever since he fought Gilbert Melendez almost a year before his fight against Pulver. Against the wishes of his doctor, Palling went on to fight two more times after the Melendez fight (the second of which was against Pulver), and that was the last time Palling fought.

So, what has Palling been doing? Basically, he has been living life, raising his kids, and building his family construction sector business with his father.

Now Palling is itching to get back into the fight game, as Palling said he wants “to get back on the ranking.”

Also in this video interview, Palling discusses his desire to come back, when he wants to do it, and which fighting organization he wants to fight in. He also talks about what he still wants to accomplish before he retires. You can see the video now on MMAWeekly TV.
