British bomber Dan Hardy earned a shot at Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight titleholder Georges St-Pierre’s belt with his win over Mike Swick at UFC 105 in Manchester, England.

There’s been speculation about which venue would host the title match. It would be a quick sellout in Canada or England, but UFC president Dana White says it will likely happen in Las Vegas.

“I honestly don’t know where it will be, but it could end up being in Vegas,” said White. “Brits have no problem going to Vegas. It’s packed every time Ricky Hatton fights there. We’ll see, probably Vegas though.”

Hardy doesn’t care what city the title bout happens in, he’s just eager for the chance at St-Pierre.

“I don’t mind. With an opportunity like that I’ll fight him in Canada, in Vegas, in the U.K., on the moon, in a phone box on the corner, in the car park,” said Hardy at the UFC 105 post-fight press conference.

“As long as he brings his belt along for me to take off, I don’t really mind. This is a great opportunity and I’ll fight him anywhere.”

St-Pierre last defended his belt against Thiago Alves at UFC 100 in July.
