Sean Strickland: ‘Israel Adesanya is a b**ch’

Middleweight contender Sean Strickland isn’t a fan of middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. He acknowledges Adesanya’s fighting ability, but considers him to be a b**ch.

The two recently fought on the UFC 276 fight card on July 2. Adesanya defeated Jared Cannonier in the main event while Strickland was knocked out by Alex Pereira.

During the UFC 276 Pre-fight Press Conference, Strickland and Adesanya had a heated exchange. Pereira holds two wins over Adesanya in kickboxing. Strickland didn’t hold back during the press conference, but fell victim to. Pereira’s striking prowess himself.

Strickland continued to express his dislike of Adesanya in a recent interview with The Schmo at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas.

“For you civilians out there that don’t train and fight, let me tell you something. Just because you can fight doesn’t mean you’re not a b**ch. Don’t forget that. And I say that to Izzy, just because you can fight don’t mean you’re not a b**ch.”

Adesanya is expected to face Pereira in his next title defense. Strickland thinks Adesanya will likely win, but still considers him a ‘b**ch.’

“I think Izzy is going to beat Alex. I think Izzy is going to stand there, and Izzy is going to bounce around and outpoint Alex for five rounds. We’re all going to say Izzy is the best in the world. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s a b**ch.”

Dana White guarantees Israel Adesanya’s next fight will be ‘batsh*t nuts’
