Newly crowned Invicta FC bantamweight champion Sarah Kaufman reflects on her Invicta FC 29 victory over Katharina Lehner.

Kaufman (20-4, 1 NC) joined Cris Cyborg as the only female fighters to have won both Strikeforce and Invicta FC titles with her submission win over Lehner on Friday. It was the 32-year old’s first submission win in her 12-year mixed martial arts career.

Having exited the UFC on the heels of back-to-back losses in 2015, Kaufman is now 3-0 post-UFC with wins over Jessica Rose-Clark, Pannie Kianzad, and Lehner.

The all-women’s fight promotion returns on July 21 with Invicta FC 30 at Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo., where Jinh Yu Frey (6-3) and Minna Grusander (6-1) will battle for the vacant atomweight (105-pound) belt.
