Ring of Fire announced that its 31st edition, “Undisputed,” will take place Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield, Colo.

Undisputed features three title bouts. Light heavyweight champion Elliot Marshall defends his belt against “The Ultimate Fighter” season two veteran Rob MacDonald. Undefeated heavyweight Shane Carwin faces Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Sherman Pendergarst for the vacant heavyweight title. Local favorite Christian Allen defends his featherweight tile.

Also featured at Ring of Fire 31 are International Fight League veteran Donnie Liles and “Fighter Girls” cast member Michelle Waterson.

“I am excited for this fight,” commented Marshall on his first title defense. “I feel it is a big step up in competition and the most challenging of my career. I don’t want to be the fighter who has a nice padded record. I want to fight tough, dangerous opponents and that’s exactly the kind of fighter that Rob is.”

Said MacDonald, “It means the world to me to fight for a title as prestigious as the Ring of Fire light heavyweight championship. I know Eliot had a bout with staph infection that delayed this fight. I am glad he is healthy now as I want to fight a 100% Eliot Marshall. I think he is a great warrior and an honorable person and I think our styles will make this the Ring of Fire fight of the year.”

The remainder of the fight card will be released soon.
