For the first time in seven years, the UFC is going to Atlantic City and all signs are pointing towards a new facility to host the show.
According to a report from The Press of Atlantic City, the UFC on FX 4 card set to land on June 22 is headed towards the Revel Atlantic City. UFC officials were unable to confirm the location on Tuesday when speaking to MMAWeekly.com however.
The venue is a new 5500-seat complex, which is set to open in April 2012.
The last UFC event held in Atlantic City took place at the Boardwalk Hall in June 2005 for UFC 53 that featured two title fights including Andrei Arlovski vs. Justin Eilers and Rich Franklin vs. Evan Tanner.
The main event for the UFC on FX event headed to Atlantic City will feature a five round bout between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida.
More bouts will be announced in the coming weeks as well as on sale information for tickets.
