Dream Stage Entertainment, the parent company of Price Fighting Championships, has announced the first ten competitors to take part in their North American debut.

On October 21st, Pride will stage their first promotion on American soil in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight card, entitled “The Real Deal,” will feature an assortment of American fighters and a host of international stars.

Josh Barnett, who last fought in America at UFC 36 when he defeated Randy Couture, will be on the card. Joining him will be a host of Hammer House fighters slated to include Mark “The Hammer” Coleman, Kevin Randleman, and “the New York Bad Ass” Phil Baroni.

In addition to the Americans, Pride is planning on bringing some of the top international fighters in the world as well. Pride heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko will be making his American debut, as will Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, Kazuhiro Nakamura, and Pawel Nastula. Returning to the U.S. will be Kazuyuki Fujita, who fought on a card in Texas many years ago, and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, who lost to Renato “Babalu” Sobral in the IFC’s light heavyweight tournament in Denver, Colorado nearly three years ago.

No matchups have been announced as of yet, but it would seem likely that Pride would want to grant Shogun his long-desired rematch with Mark Coleman.

In conjunction with their American debut, Pride kicks off a media tour with some of the fighters tonight in Torrance, California.
