DSE has announced three official fights for Pride 34, which is scheduled for April 8 at the Saitama Super Arena.

Brazilian Top Team fighter Ricardo Arona takes on Team Quest fighter Sokoudjou. Arona is coming off a TKO victory over Alistair Overeem at Pride Final Conflict Absolute 2006. Sokoudjou is coming off a stunning upset over Arona’s teammate Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at Pride 33, where he knocked out the Brazilian in just 23 seconds.

Shooto Middleweight Champion Shinya Aoki takes on Dutch striker Brian Lo An Joe. Aoki is coming off a decision win over Akira Kikuchi at Shooto: Back to our Roots. Lo An Joe is coming off a submission victory over Oktay Karatas at Too Hot To Handle: Pride & Honor.

Cage Rage British Middleweight Champion Zelg ‘Little Cro Cop’ Galesic takes on Yoshida Dojo fighter Makoto Takimoto. Galesic is coming off a TKO victory over Mark Weir at Cage Rage 19. Takimoto is coming off a TKO loss to Gergard Mousasi at Pride Bushido 11.

Pride 34 is scheduled to air live on PPV, this being the first time an event in Japan airs live in the United States.
