After his loss to Sergei Kharitonov, it appears that Pedro Rizzo is going to try a different approach to his training to try and get his career back on track. After the loss at Pride, Rizzo received an offer to train with Chute Boxe and appears to be taking them up on the offer. According to our friends at Tatame:

“One of the main names of Heavyweight in the world, Pedro Rizzo is ready to face a training season in Chute Boxe. Ruas Vale-Tudo fighter, Rizzo got invite on the following Pride day. Proposal was made by Chute Boxer’s leader Rudimar Fedrigo to Marco Ruas and his trainer Beto Leitão.

‘Pedro Rizzo is an excellent fighter and he is very faithful to his master Marco Ruas. Our doors are opened to help him out’ – Rudimar confirms. The invitation ended with an exchange among Ruas Vale-Tudo fighters and Chute Boxers. ‘They need some Wrestling train and Pedro needs sparring. So we gonna work together,’ says Beto Leitão, who has already been planning a two weeks season in Curitiba with Pedro.
