UFC fighter Nick Diaz was reportedly involved in an altercation at Hyde, a nightclub in the Bellagio, in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
TMZ Sports reported the news after confirming the incident with a Hyde representative. According to TMZ, the rep told them that Diaz “went to the bathroom around 2:30 AM and accidentally stumbled into another customer, who started talking smack. We’re told Nick apologized and said he didn’t want any trouble, but three other men then joined the first guy and jumped Nick.”
Diaz reportedly told TMZ, “I didn’t start it. They didn’t know who I was.”

The fight allegedly spilled out of the bathroom and onto the casino floor before security broke it up and removed Diaz’s attackers. Diaz did not want to press charges, telling TMZ, his attackers “got the worst of it.”
Following the initial publication of this article, a Hyde Bellagio representative stressed that the Diaz incident did not take place inside the nightclub itself, and that Diaz didn’t present any issues for them.
“There was no altercation inside Hyde Bellagio. We enjoyed having Nick with us and he is always welcome at Hyde.”
