UFC on Fox 1 Medical Suspensions: Velasquez Out
UFC on Fox 1: Velasquez vs. dos Santos took place Saturday night, Nov. 12, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Junior dos Santos captured the UFC heavyweight championship from Cain Velasquez in the night’s main event.
Velasquez was among the post-fight UFC on Fox 1 medical suspensions released by the California State Athletic Commission on Thursday.
UFC on Fox 1 Medical Suspensions:
Cain Velasquez – Suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to being knocked out.

Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto – Suspended for 180 days with no contact for 180 days due to a possible fracture to left hand figure.
Darren Uyenoyama – Suspended for 60 days with no contact for 60 days due to cut to left eyebrow.
Mackens Semerzier – Suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to TKO stoppage and suspended 60 days with no contact for 60 days due to cut to scalp. Suspensions are served concurrently.
Paul Bradley – Suspended for 180 days with no contact for 180 days due to possible left elbow fracture.
Aaron Rosa – Suspended for 180 days with no contact for 180 days due to possible left wrist fracture.
