UFC Fight Night 81 Fighter Bonuses: Title Fight Lives Up to Expectations
Following Sunday night's UFC Fight Night 81: Dillashaw vs. Barao at TD Garden in Boston, UFC officials handed out the usual post-fight awards, which are each accompanied by a $50,000 bonus.
UFC Fight Night 81 marked the first time that a title bout headlined a Fight Night card on FOX Sports 1, and that title bout lived up to all expectations, winning the Fight of the Night bonus.
Dominick Cruz –who was stripped of the bantamweight title during a stretch of injuries over the past four years – returned to put on an amazing battle with TJ Dillashaw. The two went back and forth for five rounds, but Cruz edged ahead on two of the three judges' scorecards to reclaim the title he never lost.
Cruz and Dillashaw each got a $50,000 bonus check for their Fight of the Night performance.

The two individual Performance of the Night winners were Ed Herman and Luke Sanders.
Herman made what he declared a "permanent" move to light heavyweight, and it looks like it could be a great move for him the way his debut went. He landed a solid knee to score a second-round knockout over Tim Boetsch.
Sanders remained undefeated after submitting Maximo Blanco in his UFC debut. A former RFA champion, Sanders took the fight on short notice, but made the most of his opportunity.
