UFC fighter Bobby Green has undergone a tremendous amount of personal strain over the past few months, first having lost one brother to a drive-by shooting in May, and then having another brother shot in the past couple of days, according to a report by BloodyElbow.com's Steph Daniels.

Although there are currently few details about the new shooting, Green posted a video to his Facebook page, acknowledging that his brother had been shot, but that he fortunately survived.

Green's younger brother, Mitchell Davis, Jr., did not survive the shooting in May.

Green last fought in July, winning a split decision over Josh Thomson at UFC on FOX 12. It was a fight that many questioned why he would take it in the aftermath of his brother's shooting.

"For those who don't know, my brother was killed, four family members shot all at once. This is the only reason I actually took the fight. To give my brother that honor, put him on front stage, and say that he was a good kid," Green explained after the fight. "He was my closest soldier to me. He was my baby brother. It's been very hard to deal with that pain."

Fortunately, Green won't have to deal with the loss of another sibling, as his other brother, according to him, has pulled through.

Although extremely vague in his comments, Green in his Facebook post said, "What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong, and we can't keep standing for this. We won't stand for this. I refuse to let this go undone.  So I'm going to do something about this crime. It's the movement. It's the movement."

Green's camp was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.
