Anderson Silva on Saturday night continued his
dominance of the middleweight division. His defeat of Pride's final 183-pound
champion Dan Henderson further shortened the list of challenger's to his
ranking as the No. 1 fighter in the division in the world.
With an impressive victory of his own at UFC
82 in Columbus, Ohio, Yushin Okami continued his quest to earn a shot at
Silva's championship. He holds a disqualification win over Silva, and knocked
out the returning Evan Tanner at the Nationwide Arena on Saturday night.
Jon Fitch continued his case for a shot at the
welterweight title. Chris Leben scored another impressive finish. Heath Herring
and Andrei Arlovski were both impressive in the heavyweight division.
