Daniel Cormier angered by Jon Jones' Michael Jordan comparison
While many consider Jon Jones to be the greatest fighter to ever grace the sport of mixed martial arts, Daniel Cormier displayed disgust after hearing of the Michael Jordan comparisons.
'Bones' has long been at the pinnacle of MMA and is regarded by most to be in the sport's GOAT conversation. Despite possessing one of, if not thee, best resume of all time, 'DC' isn't fond of the comparisons being given to his long-term rival.
Making an appearance on the Pound 4 Pound Podcast, Daniel Cormier was angered by a comment made by Kamaru Usman.
'The Nigerian Nightmare' likened Jon Jones to NBA's Michael Jordan, forcing a reaction out of Cormier.
"If you would have said that [Jones is the Michael Jordan of MMA], I was leaving," Cormier said.
"No, he isn't. I'm about to leave. You done with the interview? Do you just want to be done?"
After Usman doubled down on his belief that Jon Jones is MMA's Jordan, Daniel Cormier analyzed why he sees it differently.
