Bethe Correia Faces Raquel Pennington at UFC on FOX 19
The UFC on FOX 19 event in Tampa, Fla. has gained a women’s bantamweight bout between two hard-hitting women.
Former title challenger Bethe Correia takes on number 13-ranked Raquel Pennington on the April 16 fight card. Pennington announced the matchup on Friday via Instagram.
Correia (9-1) hopes to rebound from a 34-second knockout loss to former champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 190. It was the first loss of the Brazilian’s career. Prior to the loss to Rousey, Correia was on a nine-fight winning streak.

Pennington (6-5) is coming off a Perfomance of the Night submission win over Jéssica Andrade in her last outing at UFC 191. The win avenged a split decision loss to Andrade at UFC 171. Prior to the UFC 191 win, Pennington took champion Holly Holm to split decision at UFC 184.
